A brief history of our company, the founders, and our goal:
Mr. James Wasko and Liisa Pekonen are the visionary founders of ASAP Medical
Systems, Inc. (ASAP) and the driving force behind the creation of ASAPOnline.
ASAP is the outgrowth of the successful efforts of Mr. Wasko and Ms. Pekonen
to develop a business that provides high quality health care management tools.
During the five years (1995-2000) that the predecessor company resold
proprietary claims processing software, our founders developed a plan to
release a fully integrated Practice Management System, centered on the concept
of (Code Compliant) On-line claims processing for the Medical Industry.
Now almost seven (7) years after our founders, initial vision, the stage has
been set.
Through the combined skills of the founders, our board, and other key senior
personnel, and with recent advances in .Net applications, and the Internet,
ASAP is uniquely positioned to become an overnight industry leader with the
August 2003 release of the HIPAA Compliant ASAPOnline Version 1.0.
