ASAP Medical Systems, Inc. (ASAP) is an outgrowth of the successful efforts of our founders
James Wasko and Liisa Pekonen to develop a business that provides high quality health care
management tools.
James Wasko’s previous experience as a highly regarded Microsoft Engineer
combined with Liisa Pekonen’s extensive experience (15 years) as a Sports Clinic Manager,
Insurance Claims Examiner and Coder, are the basis, for the visionary concepts behind ASAP
Medical Systems main product offering.
Presently in the final stages of developing Integrated Practice Management software, known
as ASAPOnline, ASAP has slated ASAPOnline for beta release in August 2003. ASAPOnline is
HIPAA Compliant and makes use of recent advances in .Net applications and the Internet, to
provide unrivaled turnaround time for electronic medical claims reimbursement, with a seamless
interface between numerous applications that physicians, clinics and hospitals can scale to meet
their requirements.
During the planned release scheduled to take place in the fall of 2003, ASAP’s team of highly
qualified instructors, trainers, resellers and support personnel will be in the field teaching
on a regional basis, instructing users how to implement ASAPOnline in their business setting.
As the initial product release gathers momentum, other ASAP products will follow that provide the
first comprehensive integrated practice management platform to be hosted from the Web.
This Web based platform will allow ASAP clients to spend significantly less money on hardware,
networks, and expensive on-site technical support personnel, thereby reaping the many benefits
of ASAPOnline, including; faster turnaround of medical claims, real time verification, real time
claim status, reduced rejection rates, more accurate patient information, and better overall heath
care services.
